Become a Pathbuilder by committing recurring support that helps more than 1,400 adults, families with children, and veterans receive vital services on their path to attaining self-sufficiency and housing.

The impact of a monthly gift :

 

Provides 100 meals for those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Provides one night of shelter, meals, and programs for a family of four.

Provides the food for breakfast and dinner for one individual for 30 days.

Provides one night of shelter, meals, and transformational programming for one individual.

More Ways to Support HomewardBound of the Grand Valley

Qualified Charitable Contributions

HomewardBound of the Grand Valley can accept IRA Charitable Rollovers, also known as Qualified Charitable Distributions. These donations have a tax benefit for donors age 70.5 or older. IRA regulations allow donors to make contributions directly from an IRA account to HomewardBound without paying taxes on the distribution.

If you are interested in making a donation from a IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution, please contact your financial advisor.

Information for Colorado Government Employees

If you are a Colorado Government Employee you can designate a charitable contribution to HomewardBound by using the Colorado Combined Campaign. State employees who participate in workplace donations can support via payroll designation to make giving to your favorite organization that much easier. Looking to access your tax credit for your donation?

Donations of $100 or more to HomewardBound qualify for a partial tax credit through the Department of Local Affairs Homeless Contribution Tax Credit (HCTC) Program. To receive certification, visit the DOLA’s HCTC website to enter your taxpayer information.
